Join GAR, GBA (Gaston Business Association, GCHBA (Greater Charlotte Home Builders Association) and GCS (Gaston County Schools) for an After Hours Collaboration.

Join us for the opportunity to support workforce development right here in Gaston County!

You’re invited to attend this Business After Hours event at the Career Exploration Center for Gaston County Schools. This brand new facility provides students with VR simulation of multiple career paths. The 2024-2025 school year was its first in operation, and it served 1,600 students from elementary through high school with curriculum enrichment and career development.

The Career Exploration Center is the newest endeavor of Gaston County’s thriving Career & Technical Education (CTE) department. We’re excited to tour this facility and offer YOU the chance to experience the VR stations that include welding, truck driving, auto detailing, and more! To show our support for workforce development, we’re raffling an amazing gift basket with proceeds going to Gaston County CTE programs.

There’ll be great food, door prizes, and plenty of networking. Come out for a good time and a good cause!
